Waptrix ("we"), based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, provides a software platform that lets businesses manage customer conversations on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger. This policy explains what data we process and why.
Customers are businesses that sign up for Waptrix. End users are people who message those businesses. For end-user data, the business is the data controller and Waptrix processes it on the business's behalf.
Only to provide the service: showing conversations in the inbox, sending replies, broadcasts and automated responses that the business sets up, managing orders, billing, security and support. We do not sell data or use end-user messages for advertising.
Data is shared with Meta Platforms to send and receive messages, with hosting providers (Vercel, Neon) that store it for us, and with payment providers for shop payments. We may disclose data when required by law.
Data is stored on servers in Singapore and the United States. Access tokens are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and access is limited to people who need it.
We keep data while the business account is active. A business can delete contacts, chats and connected channels at any time. When an account is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days. See Data deletion.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to access, correct or erase your data. End users should contact the business they messaged; you can also write to us and we will help.
